The latest trend in UFO-ology is the claim that UFOs are operating from bases hidden away at the bottom of the ocean.
There have been numerous sightings of brightly lit objects which appear to be spacecraft that descend into the water and sightings of such craft rising up out of the water of the ocean. So the claim is that these are extraterrestrial craft that are capable of flight through the air and are also capable of travelling underwater.
The claim of ocean bases is a new twist on UFO phenomenon. The updated US government term for UFO is “UAP”which means Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon but many others and myself prefer “UFO.”
Author and researcher Dr Michael Sala is a prominent figure in study of the UFO ocean base claims. Sala and others claim there are six such bases off the coast of the Bahamas. Others mention a seafloor base near Malibu, California and other bases around the world.
Is there a Cover Up of UFO evidence?
A member of the US Congress, namely, Tim Burchett Republican of Tennessee, is a member of the House Oversight Committee which oversees reported UFO sightings. Apparently congressman Burchett has bought into the underwater bases theory of UFO aliens. Burchett claims that aliens have been hiding out in five or six underwater bases off the Bahamas and he goes so far as to say that they may have been hiding there for generations.
Burchett believes the US government is covering up the existence of aliens. Burchett told Newsweek that the US recovered a craft and attempted to reverse engineer it to understand alien technology. “Reverse engineering to obtain technology” is a common claim that UFO conspiracy theorists have echoed.
My own opinion on a so-called cover up is that the government would have few reasons to cover up the existence of extraterrestrial spacecraft. The US government would have many reasons to expose the finding of UFO spacecraft.
If the US government exposes the alleged evidence of UFOs they could play hero and increase the defense budget to protect America from attack from outer space.
Burchett is a member of Congress. One would think he would have access through various channels to discover and expose solid evidence of alien spacecraft if such evidence exists. There are many people in prominent positions in government who would have every incentive to expose the existence of alien spacecraft, if nothing more than to make a name for themselves and be the heroic individuals who exposed the evidence of UFOs.
The Pentagon denies contact with extraterrestrial aliens. The Pentagon office of All Domain Dissonance Solutions has made statements saying that they have not made contact.
No Solid Evidence of Alien Spaceships
There’s no solid, irrefutable evidence to prove the existence of space aliens in metal spacecraft in earth skies or under water.
There is plenty of visual evidence of UFOs however. This is what you would expect if the aliens were not physical beings at all but as I have maintained, they are actually spirits. They proceed not from outer space or other planets in metal spacecraft but they are actually traveling from another dimension, the dimension of the spiritual realm.
In researching for this article I read an article on the internet titled “aliens hiding in five or six underwater UFO bases off the Bahamas says top politician” by Jerry Lawton of the Dailey Star at msn.com. in this article Lawton reviews a lot of the conspiracy theories and he discusses the claims of aliens hiding out in undersea bases.
The article also contains the statement from an unnamed source who said “so called underwater craft are not going underwater at all. They are interdimensional craft that enter other dimensions via portals.” This is the interdimensional view of UFOs which I will explain in detail later in this article.
Why Be Concerned About UFOs?
One may wonder why I would be involved with discussions of UFOs since I’m writing articles that defend the Christian faith. Are UFOs some kind of threat to the Christian faith?
People claim to have received messages from extraterrestrials. These messages have often been of religious doctrines which form the basis of UFO cults. UFO cults are certainly a threat to people and ruin many lives. UFO cult doctrine contradicts biblical doctrine.
UFO Cults
Seducing spirits persuade the minds of people to put their faith in false cults of many types. Demonic deception can be very powerful, especially when directed at young, impressionable minds.
UFO cults are religious groups who receive doctrine from communication with alleged extraterrestrial beings through mental telepathy and more commonly in recent years, through alleged “abductions” to alien spacecraft.
Commonly identified UFO cults include Raelism, Aetherius Society, Ashtar Galactic Command, Chen Tao, Falun Gong, Heaven’s Gate and many others.
Aliens From Another Dimension
Extraterrestrial aliens, whether they appear as reptilians or greys, are actually spirits. They are not flesh and blood astronauts in metal spacecraft. Many UFO researchers, even secular ones, are coming around to see that UFOs and aliens are spirits from the spiritual dimensions of reality.
UFOs are not metal spaceships from bases under the ocean. UFOs come from a different, nonmaterial dimension of reality.
Extraterrestrial or Interdimensional
UFO researchers are divided into two different viewpoints in explaining UFOs. These viewpoints are the extraterrestrial hypothesis and the interdimensional hypothesis.
The extraterrestrial hypothesis is the claim that UFOs are metal spaceships with astronauts from planets in star systems within our own physical universe.
The interdimensional view is that UFOs are nonphysical entities or spirits that travel from different dimensions and enter our universe from the unseen spiritual realm.
The interdimensional hypothesis is more consistent with the Bible and the Christian worldview because it can be inferred that the other dimensions from which UFOs travel are the same as the realm of spirit. The Bible certainly teaches about the spirit world.
Christian researchers and some secular researchers reject the extraterrestrial hypothesis and maintain the interdimensional view. Famous secular UFO researcher, Jacques Vallee, holds to the interdimensional hypothesis.
It’s not astronauts from outer space but spirit beings from the realm of spirit. Malevolent UFO aliens are demons and they can disguise themselves as humanoid beings or astronauts.
UFOs have been tracked at extreme speeds and making 90 degree turns at such speed that the momentum shift would destroy any metal spacecraft.
I’m aware that good angels can also occasionally appear as lights in the sky or as lights on earth. In the Bible, in Acts 12:7, we read of an angel appearing to the apostle Peter in his prison cell in light.
Also remember that Ezekiel the prophet, saw some bizarre but holy phenomena recorded in the Old Testament book of Ezekiel (Ezekiel 1:4-28). Angels are good spirits that inhabit other dimensions. The dimensions they inhabit are the dimensions of the spirit world.
Demon Spirits Appearing as Space Aliens
I regard demonic UFO aliens who travel from the spirit dimensions as generally of the same category as poltergeists, hauntings, occultism, shamanism and other manifestations of evil spirits. I hold this view because the teachings that are transmitted from demonic aliens to leaders of UFO cults are antibiblical and often lead to bizarre behavior such as the Heaven’s Gate mass suicide.
Also, the horrific animal mutilations attributed to UFOs in which animals have their blood drained and have organs removed with surgical precision is further evidence of the demonic origin of UFO aliens.
Have no fear of demons appearing as flying saucers or disguised as extraterrestrial humanoid beings. Don’t be deceived by cult groups claiming extraterrestrial connections, doctrine and phenomena.
The Bible teaches that Christ is above all and every knee must bow before Him who conquered sin through His death and resurrection. People have thwarted UFO abductions by calling on Jesus Christ for help.
UFO aliens tempt young people with drama and adventure in our present age of rocketry and space exploration.
UFO cults lead people to spiritual ruin. UFO cults exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. They must be exposed and vigorously refuted. We should pray for followers of UFO cults to be set free from deception.
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Jesus Christ has Authority Over All Spirits
UFO “abductions” and UFO cults are a major avenue of deception that must be addressed. I don’t believe that people who claim to have been abducted were actually taken aboard a spacecraft.
I believe these abductions are nothing more than demonic dreams or visions implanted in unsuspecting people. Many if not most people who claim to be “abducted” are people who’ve been prior involved in the occult. Demons can put thoughts in human minds by mental telepathy.
There are many instances of people resisting and ending abduction attempts by calling on Jesus for help. The April 2001 issue of Charisma magazine, on page 46 gives details of one such instance.
Joe Jordan and Guy Malone, founders of the UFO research ministry, Alien Resistance, have documented hundreds of cases of people stopping alien abduction attempts by calling on Jesus Christ.
If you are confronted by demons appearing as UFOs or aliens, tell them to go away in the name of Jesus Christ. Always speak the name of Jesus Christ aloud during the confrontation. The Bible says: “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
We must point people to Jesus Christ who came in fulfillment of over 300 Old Testament Bible prophecies written hundreds of years before His birth. No other person in all of history can match this claim! Jesus worked miracles in front of eyewitnesses and this is recorded in the Gospels of the New Testament. Miracles continue to be worked today by Christians who rely on the power of Christ.
Our Creator Redeems Us
Everybody gets what they want. If you love and serve God in this life, you will be with God in the afterlife. If you choose to reject God in this life you will be separated from the goodness of God in the afterlife. Choose to be with God!
Our Creator is also our Redeemer. God, the Father, sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, the Messiah of Israel, to suffer and die taking the penalty of our sins upon Himself. This is called substitutionary atonement. God is the one who saves us through the work of His Son by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The Old Testament prophets foretold that Christ would suffer and die for the sins of the people. “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:6).
Of Christ it is written: “He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed” (I Peter 2:24 New American Standard Bible).
Jesus said about Himself, that He “did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28 NASB).
God has great love for all humanity. Christ rose from the dead to offer forgiveness of sins to all who turn to Him in repentance. I invite you to turn to Christ today to receive forgiveness of sins!
Steps to salvation:
Jesus said “You must be born again” (John 3:7).
1) Believe that God loves you and sent the Messiah (Messiah is Hebrew for Christ) to redeem you.
2) Believe that Jesus Christ came to die for you, to take upon Himself the penalty of your sins (Isaiah 53:5-6, John 6:29, Romans 4:5, First Peter 2:24 & 3:18).
3) Repent of your sins and call on Jesus Christ to ask for forgiveness of sins (Romans 10:13).
4) Receive Jesus as Savior and experience the new birth (John 1:12 & 3:3, Acts 2:38).
5) Follow Jesus Christ as Lord and be baptized (John 14:15, Acts 2:38).
Prayer to receive salvation:
To receive the salvation which Jesus purchased for us at the terrible cost of His suffering and death on our behalf I invite you to pray this simple prayer:
“Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for sending Jesus, the promised Messiah, to die for my sins. I admit that I’m a sinner. I repent of my sins and I ask you to forgive me on the basis of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I ask you to fill me with your Holy Spirit to empower me to serve you under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
